But as we adjust, you can be certain as an “Essential Service” (as defined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security) that provides critical cleaning, safety, and hygiene solutions we will continue to be part of the defense against the spread of this disease. Sunburst is honored to play this role, and we are closely monitoring the directives, guidelines, and information provided by the leading health and government authorities to ensure that what we do continues to protect our employees, customers, and those involved in the industries we serve.
Our leadership team has taken swift action to ensure we have the supplies necessary for continuing operations that will provide you with the services you need. For the safety of our employees and the larger community we have enacted appropriate social distancing policies that include remote work for all employees in functions that can telecommute. In addition, we have adjusted our attendance policies, limited on-site employees, and are monitoring the health status of our critical on-site team members. We are also ensuring all essential Sunburst employees have the required authorizations to travel and serve.
